To love God IS to love people, but it’s also to hate evil.
The Book of Jude tells us to contend earnestly for the faith. Why? Because false teachers will creep into the church, trying to pervert it for their own gain. See if you recognize some of their twisted traits happening in today’s culture:
- They’re lawless, arrogant.
- They take the concept of grace as a license to sin.
- They deny Jesus and rebel against God.
- These false people are ruled and polluted by their own passions.
- They prefer their own imaginations to God’s Revelation.
- They cause divisions because they do NOT have the Holy Spirit.
The good news is that believers DO have the Holy Spirit, and with His help, we will fight this flood of evil and WIN! God’s mercy prevails.
