Good news today: ANYONE can receive light from God. The book of James says if you lack wisdom, you can ask God who will give generously and without finding fault. But there’s a condition. It says you must ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. SO, when we ask God for His guidance– when we trust in Him with no divided loyalty– then we can be firm and confident in our decision.
But you might ask, how do we know it’s really God leading us?
There are so many voices competing for our attention. But Jesus said that His sheep will KNOW HIS voice. By spending time with Him, you will learn to easily and accurately recognize the sound of His voice, His wisdom, His peace. And you’ll reject the voice of counterfeits. Spend time with Him.
